Adform Master Data

How to connect Adform Master Data to Roivenue, what the default setup downloads, and how the figures are put together.

Adform Master Data is a companion to the Adform connector. Where Adform brings daily campaign performance, this one brings the underlying event level records: individual clicks, impressions, conversions and the tracking point definitions behind them.

Setting up the connector

Add an Adform Master Data connector in Roivenue and choose Connect to Adform, then sign in. You also supply an Adform List ID, which identifies the data set Adform prepares for you.

What the default setup downloads

Five jobs, one per record type: clicks, impressions, events, tracking points and metadata. Each writes its own feed rather than contributing to the daily campaign figures.

This connector does not produce campaign spend rows. It exists so that attribution can work from individual Adform events rather than daily totals, which is what makes path level analysis of Adform display possible.

Accounts normally run it alongside the Adform connector rather than instead of it.

How far back the data goes

The connector will request up to three years of history. How much arrives depends on what the platform holds for the account.

Troubleshooting

No campaign spend appears from this connector

That is expected. Master Data carries event level records only. Campaign spend comes from the Adform connector.

The connector cannot find any data

Check the Adform List ID. It identifies the prepared data set on Adform's side, and a wrong or expired id returns nothing.
