Campaign Manager

How to connect Campaign Manager to Roivenue, what the default setup downloads, and how the figures are put together.

Campaign Manager 360 is Google's ad serving and measurement platform. The Roivenue connector downloads daily impressions, clicks and media cost down to creative level, plus Floodlight activity conversions.

Setting up the connector

Add a Campaign Manager connector in Roivenue and choose Connect to Campaign Manager, then sign in with the Google account that has access.

The campaign filter does not default to everything. It ships as ^(?!.*DART).*, which excludes any campaign with DART in its name. If a campaign is missing, this is the first thing to check.

Campaign Manager's hierarchy maps onto Roivenue's as campaign to campaign, ad to ad group and creative to ad, with the placement kept in its own column.

Conversions add click-through and view-through together, so the count is higher than a click-only report.

The jobs reprocess the last three days on every run.

Available columns

The table above is what the recommended template downloads. Every column this connector can bring back is listed on Campaign Manager - Supported Columns.

Adding one means editing the connector in the Advanced Editor, which stops that connector receiving template updates.

How far back the data goes

The connector will request up to three years of history. How much arrives depends on what the platform holds for the account.

Troubleshooting

A campaign is missing

Check the campaign filter first. Unlike other connectors it does not default to matching everything, and campaigns containing DART are excluded out of the box.

Conversions are higher than a click-through report shows

The connector adds click-through and view-through conversions together. Compare against a report that includes both.
