How to connect OpenAI Ads to Roivenue, what the default setup downloads, and how the figures are put together.

OpenAI Ads. The Roivenue connector downloads daily impressions, clicks and spend per ad, plus the conversions OpenAI attributes to them.

Setting up the connector

Add an OpenAI Ads connector in Roivenue and paste your Ads API key. You can generate one in the OpenAI dashboard, under the ad account you want to read. Each key is scoped to a single ad account.

One job, bringing back one row per ad and day.

Conversion value is set to zero, so OpenAI Ads supports cost per acquisition but not return on spend.

An API key reaches exactly one ad account, so several ad accounts mean several connectors.

The job reprocesses the last 90 days on every run.

The table above is what the recommended template downloads. Every column this connector can bring back is listed on OpenAI Ads - Supported Columns.

Adding one means editing the connector in the Advanced Editor, which stops that connector receiving template updates.

How far back the data goes

The connector will request up to three years of history. How much arrives depends on what the platform holds for the account.

Troubleshooting

Revenue is zero

The template brings conversion counts without their value, so conversion value is set to zero. Take revenue from your order data.

Only one ad account's data arrives

An OpenAI Ads API key is scoped to a single ad account. Add a connector per account.
