# Reddit - Parameters

The query parameters available to a Reddit connector.

These are the parameters a Reddit connector's query accepts. The recommended template sets the ones it needs; the rest are only reachable by editing the connector in the Advanced Editor.

Most accounts never touch these. The page exists so that when a connector does need adjusting, what is adjustable is written down. The columns it can return are listed separately on [Reddit - Supported Columns](/roivenue-resources/roivenue-training/roivenue-app/data/connectors-overview/list-of-connectors/reddit/reddit-supported-columns.md).

## Parameters

| Parameter    | Type              | Default | What it does                                                                                                                                                                    |

| `Fields`     | list of text      |         | List of fields that you want returned in your metrics. See fields for allowed values                                                                                            |
| `Breakdowns` | string\[]         |         | Breakdowns, which are aggregations that summarize your data as metrics (based on specific operators) or statistics, computed on field values. See breakdowns for allowed values |
| `Filter`     | text              |         | String to restrict results by limiting field to specific values or ranges.                                                                                                      |
| `TimeZoneId` | text              |         | Time zone you want for your metrics. See time\_zone\_id for allowed values                                                                                                      |
| `Join`       | AdditionalColumns |         | Flags of additional columns to include from related objects                                                                                                                     |

## AdditionalColumns values

| Value      | Meaning                                             |
| ---------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| `None`     | Do not include any additional columns               |
| `Ad`       | Include columns from reddit\_ad\_columns.json       |
| `AdGroup`  | Include columns from reddit\_adGroup\_columns.json  |
| `Campaign` | Include columns from reddit\_campaign\_columns.json |

A connector edited in the Advanced Editor stops receiving template updates. Roivenue ships improvements by updating the shared template a connector is built from, and only connectors still configured by that template pick those updates up. Once a connector is switched to advanced mode, its query and transformations belong to you.
