# RTB House

How to connect RTB House to Roivenue, what the default setup downloads, and how the figures are put together.

RTB House retargeting. The Roivenue connector downloads daily impressions, clicks and cost per subcampaign, plus the conversions RTB House attributes to them.

## Setting up the connector

Add a RTB House connector in Roivenue and choose Connect to RTB House. Roivenue sends you to RTB House to sign in and approve access. There are no keys to copy.

### Setup options

| Option                                   | Default    | What it does                                                                                                         |
| ---------------------------------------- | ---------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| In which currency does the site operate? | none | RTB House reports in the currency you pick here. Ten currencies are available, including CZK, EUR, PLN, HUF and RON. |
| Conversion type name | `purchase` | What RTB House conversions are called inside Roivenue. |
| AdCampaign REGEX filter | everything | Limits the connector to campaigns matching a pattern. |

## What the default setup downloads

Four jobs. One brings impressions, clicks and cost, a second brings conversions and their value, and two more download the post-click and post-view feeds behind synthetic impressions.

### Where the values land

| RTB House field | Roivenue column |
| ------------------ | --------------- |
| `subcampaign`      | adCampaign      |
| `impsCount`        | impressions     |
| `clicksCount`      | clicks          |
| `campaignCost`     | cost            |
| `conversionsCount` | conversions     |
| `conversionsValue` | conversionValue |

The RTB House subcampaign becomes the campaign in Roivenue.

Performance figures are requested with post-click attribution, while the conversion job asks for all conversions, so conversion counts include both post-click and post-view activity.

The currency is whatever you picked at setup and is stamped onto every row, so it has to match how the account actually bills.

The jobs reprocess the last three days on every run.

## Available columns

The table above is what the recommended template downloads. Every column this connector can bring back is listed on [RTB House - Supported Columns](/roivenue-resources/roivenue-training/roivenue-app/data/connectors-overview/list-of-connectors/rtb-house/rtb-house-supported-columns.md).

Adding one means editing the connector in the Advanced Editor, which stops that connector receiving template updates.

## Synthetic impressions

Alongside the daily figures, this connector downloads a conversion feed that Roivenue uses to build synthetic impressions.

Ad platforms report conversions that Roivenue never saw as a web session, because of ad blockers, cross-device journeys or conversions uploaded from a CRM. Left alone those orders look like they came from nowhere, and paid media gets undercounted. The synthetic impression stands in for the missing visit so path analysis and attribution see a complete journey.

There is nothing to configure. It comes with the connector, and it is why the setup creates more than one job.

## How far back the data goes

The connector will request up to three years of history. How much arrives depends on what the platform holds for the account.

## Troubleshooting

<details>

<summary>Conversions look high compared with post-click reporting</summary>

The conversion job requests all conversions, which includes post-view. A post-click only report in RTB House will show fewer.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Costs are in the wrong currency</summary>

The currency is fixed at setup and stamped onto every row rather than read from the platform. If the wrong one was chosen, every figure carries the wrong currency code and your Account Manager needs to correct the connector.
