How to connect Tradedoubler to Roivenue, what the default setup downloads, and how the figures are put together.

Tradedoubler is a European affiliate and performance network. The Roivenue connector downloads a daily summary of impressions, clicks and cost.

Setting up the connector

Add a Tradedoubler connector in Roivenue and sign in with your Tradedoubler username and password.

The recommended template groups by date only, so there is no campaign breakdown. Every row is a whole day for the account, and the campaign field is empty. Conversions and conversion value are set to zero as well, so Tradedoubler contributes spend and traffic totals rather than campaign level performance.

The job reprocesses the last 90 days on every run, because affiliate transactions are validated long after the sale.

Adding one means editing the connector in the Advanced Editor, which stops that connector receiving template updates.

How far back the data goes

The connector will request up to three years of history. How much arrives depends on what the platform holds for the account.

Troubleshooting

There are no campaigns

The template groups by date only, so the campaign field is deliberately empty. Reporting Tradedoubler by campaign needs a connector configured differently, which your Account Manager can look at.

Conversions are zero

The daily summary report carries spend and traffic without conversions. Take conversions from your order data.
